What Does LLL of Longmont Have To Offer?
La Leche League provides encouragement and a wealth of up-to-date information to all women interested in breastfeeding.
Our Longmont Group offers two on-going monthly series meetings per month -- a morning meeting and an
evening meeeting to suit you schedule. |

Our Series Meetings rotate through four main breastfeeding
topics, see below, but always cover new ground as the moms in attendance share their experiences, and as different aspects of each topic are
explored. We encourage questions about any aspect of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, nutrition and parenting. Bring your questions
and concerns.

LLL of Longmont also has a free lending library with books and pamphlets
on many topics, and offers personal help by phone or email. Pre-registration is not necessary to attend
meetings. Come any time you want to join in an enjoyable (and free) time of mother-to-mother sharing. Before your baby arrives is an
excellent time to attend meetings. Meetings are informal and light refreshments are provided. Babies and small children are always welcome!
LLL of Longmont's Lending Library
We are pleased to have our
Group Library Collection available for viewing on Librarything
La Leche League of Longmont maintains a lending library of books on a variety of topics. Books may be checked out for one month.
There is no charge to check out a book, but non-members are asked to limit their selections to one book per month.
The library is available at all Series Metings.
The library contains books on the following topics:
Breastfeeding
Parenting
Pregnancy and Childbirth
Nutrition
Special Situations
Children's Books
Just go to http://www.librarything.com/catalog/longmontlll and create a user name and password to see our library catalogue.
(Please note, We also have some DVDs available to borrow, which are not listed on the library catalog in the above link.)
Our books and library items are available to LLL of Longmont Members and to meeting attendees.
